A crime provided by the new Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, which did not occur before: Article 197
By the new RA Criminal Code, which entered into force on July 1, 2022, although the stages of the crime are the same (preparation of a crime, attempt to commit a crime and completed crime), their concepts have been changed, in particular, the preparation of not very grave and medium gravity crimes is considered now a crime.
On April 13, 2022 the inception of the project “Justice Reform Monitoring in Armenia” was launched within the framework of the conference on “Problems of a New Strategy of the Penitentiary and Probation Field” chaired by the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.
